If you brake hard in an emergency, the car wheels can skid & even lock, causing the vehicle to spin out of control. But with the Anti-lock Braking System, you can rest assured. Because it pumps the brakes for you even if you are driving on wet and slippery surfaces. ABS uses electronic controls to maintain wheel rotation when you brake hard and prevents the wheels from locking up. It pumps brakes at up to 30 times per second in an alternating pattern that helps you stay in control and stop the car in a straight line rather than spinning out of control.

The Safari is the FIRST and ONLY Indian SUV to be tested and certified as per 74/297/EEC (European Regulation) with regard to the protection of the driver and the front passenger in the event of a full frontal collision.

Collapsible steering column : The steering column in the Tata Safari is designed to collapse into itself during full frontal impact, thus protecting the driver from the steering wheel.

Tiltable steering column :The angle of the steering column can be adjusted to suit the driving position most convenient for you.

RUGGED CHASSIS AND BODY CONSTRUCTION

Mounted over a strong ladder frame, the shell has several crumple zones and other energy absorbing design features to soak up the energy of impact in case of a collision.

SIDE IMPACT BARS

Anti submarine seats prevents the occupant from sliding forward in case of braking or any other form of speed variation.

FRONT SEAT BELT WARNINGS & DOOR OPEN WARNING

In case the seat belts have not been locked or any of the doors are open icons on the instrument penal will light up and audio warnings will come on.

DEMISTER ON REAR WINDSCREEN

Helps defogging the rear windshield in case of mist formation in cold climate.

REVERSE GUIDE SYSTEM WITH VIDEO DISPLAY

The Safari comes equipped with a weather-proof camera below the rear number plate in the top-end version. Slip into reverse gear and a part of the rear-view mirror lights up to display an unobstructed view of what’s behind.

CHILD SAFETY LOCK ON REAR DOORS AND TRAIL GATE
